Piso Livadi Paros

Piso Livadi is a small holiday resort in the east of the island of Paros. Holidaymakers will find everything they need here in a pleasant and quiet atmosphere. The prices are a little cheaper than in the large holiday resorts of Parikia and Naoussa.

Piso Livadi consists of just a few streets around the excellent beach and the harbor. The taverns on the beach are all good. There are many private rooms and guesthouses. The prices in Piso Livadi are about 20-30% lower than in West Paros. The place has grown a lot in recent years.

Nevertheless, Piso Livadi is an ideal vacation spot for people who don’t need luxury hotels or a big nightlife. The beach village on Paros is also suitable for families.

In summer, a small ferry leaves Piso Livadi for the nearby island of Naxos. The distance is only 10 km, and you can see Naxos from Piso Livadi. There are sufficient bus connections to Drios and Parikia via Lefkes. Depending on the season, there are 4 to 10 buses a day. Some buses also go directly to the small town Naoussa in the north of the island.

Golden Beach Paros (a few kilometers after Piso Livadi)

The next beach after Piso Livadi is called Punda (Pounda), also in East Paros. It is a beach more for young people and something like the party beach of Paros. There is a large beach club with loud music until the evening. Well-known DJs sometimes play here, including live music. This Pounda should not be confused with the other Pounda on Paros. The other place with the same name is on the other side of the island and is the ferry to Antiparos.

The Golden Beach (translated as Golden Beach, Greek: Chrissi Akti) is perhaps the most beautiful beach on the island Paros. The name comes from the golden color of the sand. It is the beach for surfers in the Cyclades. World Cup windsurfing races are even held on Golden Beach. The wind conditions for windsurfers are very good. There is often a constant north wind, especially in the warm season. Even if surfers are in the majority, there are also beach holidaymakers. There are enough taverns and room rentals on the longest beach on Paros, and in recent years there have been an increasing number of larger package hotels.

Drios on Paros (after, south of Piso Livadi)

Drios is a charming village on the southeast coast of the Greek island of Paros. It is located about 20 kilometers from Parikia, the capital of the island, and is a popular destination for visitors looking for peace, an authentic Cycladic atmosphere and proximity to the sea.

A great place to stay in Drios, bookable on Booking.com, is Blue Sea Paros almost directly on the sea.
